About the Department:
The
Department of Food Technology was started in the academic year 2006-2007. At
present a full time (4 years) B.Tech. Course is being offered. Department
comprises with well-equipped laboratories and excellent study environment cater
to the interests of aspiring students. The department focuses on giving out
students with excellent technical knowledge to meet out the industry
expectation. Thrust is being given for research and consultancy works. The main motto is to establish
the department as a reputed center for both academic and research to attend to
the wants of students for their enlistment in academic as well as hands on
experience in research. B.Tech. (Food Technology) programme is to train the
best talents of the nation in order to provide a support base for the country’s
food security.
